Elizabeth Bridge
Elizabeth Jane Bridge, 89, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the Chicora Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 6, 1926, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harry Alvin and Maddie (Hale) Campbell.
She had been a reverend in a number of churches. She was a member of the Butler Assembly of God. She enjoyed eating out and spreading the word of God.
Surviving are her grandson, Robert John Rodgers; her sister, Alvera Jean Lamison of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Edward Buffington; her second husband, Clifford Bridge; her daughter, Susan Rodgers; her sister, Daisy Osche; her twin brother, Joseph Campbell; her brother, Donald Campbell; and her half-brother, John Wilson.
BRIDGE — Friends of Elizabeth Jane Bridge, who died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, will be received from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. Friday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
