Steven R. Spare

Steven R. Spare, 32, of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 10, 1984, in Pittsburgh, the son of Wayne E. and Susan (Schrum) Rodgers of Butler.

Steven loved hunting, fishing and the Steelers. He had a heart of gold and would have given the shirt off his back to help anyone, friend or stranger. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephew, more than life itself.

Surviving along with his parents are his brother, Anthony C. Spare of Butler; his sister, Melissa S. Graham of Butler; his grandparents, Gerald and Marguerite Schrum of Butler; and his grandfather, Jerome R. Vogel Sr. of Mars.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Arlene Rodgers; and his grandmother, Eileen Vogel.
