Maridon has 'Cosmic' exhibit
The Maridon Museum along with the Christine Frechard Gallery will present “A Cosmic Contemporary Collaboration” exhibit and art sale April 8 to June 3 at the museum at 322 N. McKean St.
A gala opening is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. April 8 for a donation of $10; reservations required.
At the reception, guests can meet the artists Huang Xiang, a post-cultural revolution poet and artist from China, as well as Randall DiGiuseppe, William Rock and Dennis Keyes.
Music will be provided by Mimi Jong.
Part of the proceeds will benefit the museum.
Other events coming up at the Maridon include a continuation of “The Collectors” series.
The schedule will feature “Pens and Pencils” with Helen Ferguson on March 23, “Baubles, Bangles and Bling” with Zelda Wilbert on May 17, and “Curiosities and Conundrums of Make-do Repairs” with Ellen King on June 15.
“Collectors” programs will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, but reservations are required.
A South Korean Film Series begins March 24.
The film schedule is “The Way Home” on March 24, “The Beauty Inside” on April 20, “Masquerade” on May 11, and “The Yellow Sea” on May 25.
