Leslie Richard Frantz, 78, of Saxonburg, passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Les was born in Brackenridge on April 28, 1944, and was the son of the late Pauline J. (Doverspike) and Frank S. Frantz.

He worked at PPG in Creighton for 30 years, and he was the owner-operator of LR Plastering.

Les was a member of New Life Ministries in Saxonburg, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Les is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wendy Diane (Beers) Frantz; and his nine children, Katie (Clair) Knappenberger of Cabot, Roger Frantz of South Buffalo Township, Christin Frantz-Cooper of South Buffalo Township, Sarah (Kevin) Daily of Cranberry Township, Andrew (Jessica) Frantz of Fombell, Jacob (Brandi) Frantz of Freeport, Brian (Anne) Frantz of Saxonburg, Levi (Maureen) Frantz of Clarksburg, W.Va., and Leah Frantz of Leechburg.

He also is survived by 17 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Airica Mae Cooper; five brothers; and six sisters.

FRANTZ — Per his request, there will be no public visitation, and burial will be private for Leslie Richard Frantz, who died Monday, Dec. 12, 2022.

There will be a memorial service held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Life Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
