The Butler Transit Authority board approved next year’s meeting schedule and holiday closure schedule during its final meeting Tuesday night.

The board also bestowed a gift on member Joe Gray for his last meeting after 20 years of service.

“It’s a nice board to be on,” Gray said.

Both 2023 schedules will be posted on the Transit Authority website, butlertransitauthority.com.

The board also discussed short-term fare changes in the coming year to attract more riders. More details will be released in 2023, according to executive director John Paul.

The next transit authority meeting is scheduled for Jan. 10, 2023.
