COUNTYButler County Historical Society’s Senator Walter Lowrie House Museum presents the last public showing of “The Civil War in Pennsylvania,” a 500-square-foot exhibit featuring four life-size historic figures, modular panels describing Pennsylvania’s contributions, and original items from the collections of the historical society. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays through Dec. 19. Admission is free, though donations are accepted. PITTSBURGHPhipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 700 Frank Curto Drive, presents the Winter Flower Show and Light Garden. The outdoor areas open at 5 p.m. The conservatory will remain open until 11 p.m. for candlelight evenings throughout the show, except on Dec. 24 when it will close at 5 p.m. and remain closed until Dec. 26. The flower show and garden will continue through Jan. 10. Admission is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors and students and $11 for children ages 2 to 18.
