Larry James Thompson
Larry James Thompson, 67, of Butler passed away at 5:42 p.m. Monday at his home.
He was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Butler, to the late James Thompson and Esther Fry Thompson.
Larry was a 1967 graduate of Butler High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Larry attended the First United Methodist Church. He was a service manager at Jack's Ford in Sarver, retiring in 2004.
He is survived by two sons, Travis Thompson and Chad Thompson, both of Butler; one daughter, Abbey Thompson of Butler; one sister, Diana Haugh, and her husband, John, of Grove City; one niece; and six nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Susanne Shultz Thompson, who he married Nov. 15, 1980, and who died April 28, 2016; and one sister-in-law, Pamela Shultz.
