Mary Sue Johnston

Mary Sue Johnston, 85, of Butler, formerly of Slate Lick, passed away Thursday at Concordia Care in Cabot.

She was born Dec. 6, 1931, in Butler, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Kuziline) Nagy.

Mary graduated from Butler High School. She enjoyed crocheting and doing ceramics. She had formerly worked at Nationwide Insurance in Butler.

Surviving are her sister, Shirley Ostram of Charlotte, N.C.; her brother, Edward Nagy of Butler; two nephews, James (Sheila) Schad of Saint Albans, W.Va., and Larry Schad of Butler; and her niece, Susan Hallett of Charlotte, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Esther Gutchous and Lillian Schad.

JOHNSTON — Friends of Mary Sue Johnston, who died Thursday, May 25, 2017, will be received 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, followed by a graveside service at North Cemetery with the Rev.
