BUFFALO TWP — Two local drivers finished among the top 25 in the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXIX Sprint car race Tuesday night at Lernerville Speedway.

Sye Lynch, son of the track's all-trime Sprint feature win leader Ed Lynch Jr., finished 16th while Freeport graduate and Sarver resident Carl Bowser was 22nd.

Former Lernerville track champion Tim Shaffer of Aliquippa finished 10th.

Donny Schatz won the 35-lap feature.

Racing returns to Lernerville Friday with the inaugural RUSH Summer Showcase, featuring the RUSH Late Models, Sprint cars and Sportsman Modifieds. The Pro Stocks are on the card as well.

Racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
