Glenn Cratty

Glenn M. Cratty, 92, of Prospect, peacefully passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at New Haven Court, Butler, where he resided since May 2017.

Born July 9, 1928; he was the son of late Garth R. and Emma McCandless Cratty.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1947, and then began his 39-year career with the local telephone company, retiring in 1986.

During his life he enjoyed time with his family, gardening, canning, car shows, traveling and camping, and in his retirement, wintering in Florida.

He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Ben) Vavro of Butler; two sons, Keith Cratty of Lady Lake, Florida and Gerald (Teresa) Cratty of Evans City; sister, Velma Markall of Cabot; sister-in-law, Erma Cratty of Butler; and his brother-in-law, Robert Hogg of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Martha Neal Cratty; his second wife, Jean Allen Cratty; an infant daughter; sister, Marilyn Hogg; and his brother, Ronald Cratty.

Cratty — At the convenience of the family for Glenn M. Cratty, who died Friday, March 5, 2021, a private interment is being planned at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, PC., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
