Frances A Schmeider
Frances A Schmeider, 89, formerly of Meridian, passed away Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
She was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Meridian, to the late Clyde J. Corbin and the late Mollie Meeker Corbin.
Frances worked at the V.A. Medical Center as a chief of accounting, retiring in 1990 after 20 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Frances was a member of the Buttercup Garden Club, several golf leagues and Berean Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one son, D. Patrick Schmeider of Butler; three daughters, Karen (Eric) Lepp of Merritt Island, Fla., Kimberly (Leonard) Skyzinski of Cabot and Kathleen (Richard) Ehrhart of Hellertown; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one “adopted” sister, Nancy Knopf of Vermillion Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Schmeider, whom she married on May 21, 1949, and who passed away on June 3, 2013; one brother; and one sister.
SCHMEIDER — Friends of Frances A. Schmeider, who died Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thompson — Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
