Virginia Wagner
Virginia "Ginny" K. Wagner, 77, of Prospect, passed away on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, in the Butler Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side, following an illness.
Born Aug. 26, 1945, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Wilma Woessner Anderson.
She was a member of the Emmanual Lutheran Church of Prospect.
She enjoyed working as bookkeeper. She began her career at Point Drug, moved on to Hallmark at the Betres Group, and retired in 2015 from the Butler Farm Market.
She was an avid NASCAR fan. Ginny enjoyed gardening, baking, canning, collecting jewelry, and spending time with her Cats.
She is survived by her children, Mitch (Tina) Wagner of Slippery Rock, Lori (Greg McCool) Yonker of Prospect, and Greg (Tim) Wagner of Gastonia, N.C.; four grandchildren, Jessica Garver, Kirstie Wagner, Miranda Yonker, and Shayne Yonker; four great grandchildren, Paige Ross, Oakley Wagner, Tripp Garver, and Crash Garver; her brother, Kenneth (Nancy) Anderson of Oklahoma; her sister, Norma (George) Farinelli of Texas; her Aunt Lois "Toots" McCurdy of Prospect; her cats, Junebug and Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
WAGNER — Visitation for Virginia "Ginny" K. Wagner, who died Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main Street, Prospect. The funeral service will follow, 7 p.m, in the funeral home, with Rev. Ben Oesterling, officiating.
