Jacqueline L. Gerster
Jacqueline L. Gerster, 87, of Zelienople, formerly of Cranberry Township, passed away Wednesday at the Grove at Harmony.
Born July 8, 1929, in Englewood, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Paul Vedus and Nora Muriel Jones Vedus.
Jackie worked at Hardee's in Cranberry Township where she was a certified trainer for over 10 years. She also worked for Robinson Aviation in New Jersey. Jackie enjoyed bingo and was a member of the Bingo Club at Maple Court in Zelienople. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed completing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Burr and her companion, Paul, of Zelienople and Wendy Kasing and her companion, Bob, of Stoneboro; five grandchildren, David Winaught, Jessica Gabriel, Ronda Burr, Jon Kasing and Justin Kasing; and six great-grandchildren, Maddy and Kaylee Winaught, Dalton and Carly Gabriel, and Ryland and Braylon Kelly.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Harold M. Gerster; two brothers, Benjamin and Irwin Vedus; and three sisters, Arlyn Vedus, Norma Bowen and Dorothy Nicklas.
GERSTER — There will be no viewing or services for Jacqueline L. Gerster, who died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, according to her wishes.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Jackie's honor to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Arrangements were entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 324 E.
