Sara L. “Sally” Michael
Sara L. “Sally” Michael, 86, of Decatur, Ill., passed away Nov. 11 at Mason Point in Sullivan, Ill.
Sally was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Osmer B. and Mildred E. (Phillips) Vose.
She married Robert B. Michael on March 18, 1950, in Parker. He preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1997.
Surviving are her children, Karen (Daniel) Cahill of Decatur, Ill., Robert (Felicia) Michael of Love Lady, Texas, Donald Michael of Coupeville, Wash., Colleen (Charles) Cleavenger of Sebastian, Fla., Timothy (Robin Love) Michael of Cedar Park, Texas; her siblings, Richard Vose of Prospect, Walter “Butch” (Eleanor) Confer of Parker, Dolores (Virgil) Krepps of Uniontown; her grandchildren, Molly, Rebecca, Alaina, Donald and Jayme; and her 14 great-grandchildren.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; both of her parents; her stepfather, Walter Confer; her three sisters; and her three brothers.
MICHAEL — A memorial service for Sara L. “Sally” Michael, who died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, will be held Sunday, May 11, 2019, at Parker City Fire House, 204 S. Wayne Ave., Parker.Inurnment will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia.The Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home, Decatur, Ill., has been entrusted with the care of Sally.Memorials may be made to any hospice organization of the donor's choice.Condolences may be left to her family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
