Angelo Pucci
Angelo Pucci, 90, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Hospice in Butler.
Born Feb. 5, 1926, in Butler, he was the son of the late Leonard and Angelina (DeDonato) Pucci. He was employed by Brown's Boot Shop in downtown Butler, where he served as its store manager for a great many years until his retirement.
Subsequent to graduating from Butler High School, Angelo proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a tail gunner. Angelo was also a passionate Steeler fan, faithfully following the team throughout his lifetime. An avid tomato gardener, Angelo was known to bestow his annual crop on his family, friends and neighbors. In his younger years, Angelo also enjoyed golfing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Pucci; his sister, Donna Puz and his nephew, Wayne Pucci.
Surviving are his nephews, Michael (Deborah) Pucci, Rodger (Sharon) Puz and Matthew (Rebecca) Puz; and great-nieces, Ryan Puz, Allison Puz, Sarah Puz, Sydney Puz and Aimee Puz.
