Joshua Powell and Emily Peabody

A Sept. 3 wedding is being planned by Emily Peabody and Joshua Powell, both of Erie.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of William Peabody of Mount Morris, N.Y., and Missy Jodeit of Waterloo, N.Y. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jim and Julie Powell of Slippery Rock.

The future bride is a 2009 graduate of General McLane High School and a 2013 graduate of Slippery Rock University.

She is employed by BKD, LLP in Erie.

Her fiance graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 2008 and from Slippery Rock University in 2012.

He is employed by Acuren Inspection in Erie.
