Shirley A. (Cleer) Goodrich, 92, of Gibsonia, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, surrounded by family and in the care of Promedica Manor Care Skilled Nursing Facility in the North Hills.

Born July 10, 1930, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Matilda (Eberhardt) Cleer.

Throughout her lifetime, Shirley was always a hard worker. She was employed in retail, working for Murphy’s Mart, then numerous years as assistant manager at Woolworth’s in Allison Park.

She had a lighthearted spirit and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed being with family and friends. Her pastimes included singing, dancing, dining out and playing cards. She had a talent as an artist, expressing her creativity through her paintings. She had the most loving heart, which embodied her soul and touched all who met her.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Erica (Goodrich) Cimador and son-in-law, Leo Cimador.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Goodrich, whom she married on June 19, 1954, and who died on Feb. 11, 1994.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rose Marie Michaels, Barbara Kuntz and Joanna Sullivan; and her brother, Charles Cleer.

GOODRICH — Visitation for Shirley A. (Cleer) Goodrich, who died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, at KING FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victor Parish, with Father Vincent Kolo officiating.

She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick.
