2 men found with 6.5 bricks of heroin, charged

Two men were charged Wednesday, Dec. 7, after being found in possession of nearly six and a half bricks of heroin/fentanyl, cocaine and crystal meth in Buffalo Township, state police said.

Todd W. Cessna, 35, of Shelocta, Indiana County, and Dillon J. Trice, 31, of New Bethlehem, Clarion County, were charged with felony drug sales and two misdemeanors of possession of controlled substances.

Cessna additionally were charged with another count of felony drug sales and two misdemeanors of possession of controlled substances following a June 17 traffic stop.

According to the affidavit, state police stopped a vehicle around 7 p.m. on Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Cessna and Trice were identified as passengers.

Police said Cessna was found in possession of 227 bags of heroin/fentanyl and more than 11 grams of cocaine, codeine and alprazolam tablets.

Cessna admitted to selling the heroin for $8 a bag and $60 per bundle and the cocaine for $100 a gram, according to charging documents.

Trice was found in possession of 120 bags of heroin/fentanyl and a bag of crystal meth, police said. He told officers he did not use heroin when he was taken into custody.

Preliminary hearings for Cessna and Trice have not been scheduled.
