The Butler County Labor Council donated $5,000 to Butler County Toys for Tots Wednesday evening.

Jim Saeler, president of the Butler County Labor Council, said the organization has given money to Toys for Tots for at least 10 years, putting donations it receives from members and their companies toward different causes at the end of the year.

“A lot of times we get different locals who donate money, businesses and other organizations and even individuals. They get together to do some charitable,” Saeler said. “Whoever will send us a check for Toys for Tots, we'll accept it and donate.”
