Alberta Thomas

Alberta Stevenson Thomas, 89, of Butler passed away at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saxony Personal Care Home.

She was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Dorseyville, Pa., and was the daughter of the late John B. Stevenson and the late Isabel (Jackson) Stevenson.

Surviving are her daughter, Patty Lou Thomas of Indianapolis, Ind.; her son, Dean (Paula) Thomas of Butler; two grandchildren, Feather (David) Bacher of Cranberry Township and Fawne Thomas of Ashburn, Va.; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jonah Bacher of Cranberry Township.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond P. Thomas, who died Sept. 3, 2005; four sisters; and her half-brother.

THOMAS — Friends of Alberta Stevenson Thomas, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.There will be a private service.
