Victoria Moon
Victoria Moon, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday at the Uffelman Estates.
Victoria entered into this life Jan. 22, 1929 in Butler, to the late Josef and Pauline Ciernak Gracik.
Education was her first and foremost love, having a master's degree in library science, she had a long and fulfilling career as a teacher and librarian. Victoria was an avid reader, loved to sew and was very active in the Intermediate League. She was a great volunteer and advocate for the Democratic party and a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler where she also was a member of the church choir.
In addition to her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Wendel Tomasovic; her second husband, Clinton Moon; and her brothers, Charles Gracik and Joseph Gracik.
Survivors include her children, Wendell Tomasovic, Robert Tomasovic, George (Betty) Tomasovic, Paul (Denise) Tomasovic, Kathy (Hunter) Burney, Mary (Paul) Gillam and Carol (Howard) Tutelian; and her siblings, Albert Gracik and Mary Gillespie.
Victoria was the loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and was the aunt to several nieces and nephews.
MOON — Graveside services for Victoria Moon, who died Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Cemetery in Butler.The Thompson-Miller Funeral Home in Butler is in charge of local arrangements.Pallbearers will be Jason Tomasovic, Matt Singer, Justin Burney, John Gillam, Mark Tomasovic, Zach Tomasovic, Jake Tomasovic, Matt Tomasovic, Luke Tomasovic and Frank Tutelian.The family would like to offer a special thank you to caregivers, Mary Birdwell and Lillian Cheatham.Memorial contributions are preferred to the Visitation Hospital Foundation, 237 Old Hickory Blvd. Suite 100, Nashville, TN 37221 or to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 709 Franklin St., Clarksville, TN 37040.
