Donna Summerville

Donna Summerville, 68, of Hagerstown, Md., formerly of Butler, died at her home April 12.

She was born Oct. 6, 1946, in Butler to the late Oscar Jahn and Bessie Crispin Jahn Oesterling.

She moved to Hagerstown, Md., and was the loving wife to Robert John Summerville Sr. for 54½ years.

She enjoyed hanging out at the DelMar and was ornery, fun loving and always willing to help others. She helped her husband raise his 13 siblings, and she loved her family and friends. She was known to many as Aunt Donna.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her children, Debbie Shrout and her husband Mark, John Summerville and his wife Jen, Tim Summerville and his wife, Teresa, and Robert J. Summerville III. She was the grandmother of seven; great-grandmother of 14; and the dear sister of Mary Slee and her husband, Sam, Nancy Jahn and Paul Jahn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Summerville II and Mike Summerville; one grandson, Josh Summerville; one sister, Betty Serafine; one brother, Richard (Sonny) Serafine; and her stepfather, Russell Oesterling.
