Carol Reges, 82, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Carol was born on Nov. 19, 1940, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Viola Gardner.

She selflessly dedicated her life to her family and stayed home to create a loving environment for her children and husband, Melvin “Bud” Reges, whom she married in 1961, and was with him until his death.

Carol was a great cook and loved cooking for her family. She also loved watching game shows and soaps, and playing Yahtzee and bingo.

Carol was a very caring and giving person, who was loved by many and will forever be missed.

Carol is survived by her sons, Robert Reges and Dean (Melanie) Reges; her sister, Sharon (Mark) Dillard; her six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Gina Reges; and her sister, Darlene King.

REGES — All services for Carol Reges, who died Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, will be held privately.
