Marlene M. Shook

Marlene M. Shook, 60, of Sarver passed away on Wednesday at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Born Sept. 6, 1951, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Walter C. Shook and Garnet M. Livingston McGuire Shook.

Marlene was a 1969 graduate of Freeport High School. She worked as a machine operator for Saxonburg Ceramics. She attended the New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg. She recently became a volunteer at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Marlene was a very giving person, had a heart of gold and was a loyal fan of the Steelers for many years.

Surviving are two brothers, Robert (Patricia) McGuire Sr. of Sarver and Edward (Anne) McGuire of Sun City, Ariz., and two sisters, Darlene (Ed) Cornetti of Cabot and Katherine (Robert Sr.) Weleski of Cabot.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three nephews.
