The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners gave final approval to hunting and trapping seasons at a virtual meeting Tuesday night.

Sunday hunting opportunities were expanded to Nov. 15 for archery deer hunting, Nov. 22 for bear hunting and Nov. 29 for firearms deer season.

The statewide archery deer season will now end Nov. 20. Squirrel season will open statewide Sept. 12 to create more opportunities for younger hunters to get afield.
