Paul Jacob Wahl

Paul Jacob Wahl, 92, of Butler passed away at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Evans City to the late Jacob Wahl and Henrietta Louise (Ketterer) Wahl.

Mr. Wahl was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.

He was the owner and operator of the Watch and Clock Repair Shop on West Brady Street in Butler for 46 years, retiring in 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II.

Mr. Wahl enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and hunting.

Mr. Wahl is survived by his wife, Margaret Anne (Marge) Wahl, who he married on April 15, 1950; two sons, Michael Wahl of Butler and Alfred Wahl and his wife, Susan, of Butler; one daughter, Diane Wahl of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

WAHL — There will be no public visitation for Paul Jacob Wahl, who died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012.A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. James Dollhopf of the First English Lutheran Church officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials donations are suggested to the First English Lutheran Church, 241 N.
