Donna Jean Orgis
Donna Jean (Scanlon) Orgis, 68, of West Sunbury passed away at 4:13 p.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born Sept. 8, 1946, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Regis Scanlon and Annabelle (Speicher) Scanlon.
She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic School for girls.
Donna worked for many years at Pizza Hut until she took early retirement. It was at Pizza Hut she met and fell in love with her best friend, Robert Orgis. They married Nov. 17, 1997. Together, the pair enjoyed life. Donna in later years worked briefly at Auntie Anne's Pretzels.
She was a woman who shined when with her family. Her love could be felt in every hug, kiss and smile. She had a way about her that always made you laugh and feel loved. Donna cherished every minute of being a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Pastimes included telling stories of herself and her two brothers and sister as children, baking, sitting out on her deck and spending time with her grandbabies.
Donna is survived by her husband, Robert Orgis; two sons, William Pint Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Butler and Eric Pint and his wife, Susan, of Bruin; five grandchildren, Alexis Pint of Butler, Meghan Pint (U.S. Navy) of Butler, Tanner Pint of Butler, Regis Pint of Bruin and Piper Pint of Bruin; one great-grandchild, Addison Glasgow of Butler; two brothers, Terry Scanlon of Pittsburgh and Gary Scanlon and his wife, Mary Lou, of Pittsburgh; four nieces; four nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Cox, and her sister-in-law, Diane Scanlon.
