Cathy J. Sheppard

Cathy J. Sheppard, 64, of Butler, formerly of Texas, passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 8, 1951 in Butler, the daughter of the late Paul W. Stewart and Donna (Wonderly) Stewart.

Cathy was a member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church. She had been a OR technician at El Paso Colon/Rectal Clinic and also at the Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. She was a medical office manager and school volunteer.

Surviving are her two sons, Thomas Stewart Sheppard of El Paso, Texas, and Steven James Sheppard of El Paso, Texas; her brother, Mark (Judy) Stewart of Chicora; nephew, Andrew P. (Melissa) Stewart; and a niece, Elizabeth C. Stewart.

SHEPPARD — Friends of Cathy J. Sheppard, who died on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrews Orthodox Church, 201 Penn Ave., Lyndora, with the Rev. Joseph Wargo officiating.
