Rosemary D. Zelinka, 95, of Butler passed away peacefully Saturday.

Born Sept. 18, 1920, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Michael Drobnak and Mary (Omasta) Drobnak.

Rosemary was a homemaker. In her younger days, she was employed at the Deshon Military Hospital and the Sears Catalog office on Main Street in Butler. Many enjoyed her homemade nutrolls, pizzelles and pierogies. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Frank Zelinka, whom she married July 16, 1949; one son, Franklin (Bud) Zelinka and his wife, Pam, of Butler; one daughter, Donna Carver and her husband, Scott, of Highland Heights, Ohio; three very special loving grandchildren, the joys of her life, Kristin, Sean and Cameron; and one great-granddaughter, Penelope.

Much gratitude is given to her caregiver, Lori, for her love, friendship and support.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Hughes and Sr. M. Domatilla; and her brother, Francis Drobnak.

ZELINKA — Friends of Rosemary D. Zelinka, who died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, will be received from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, pastor, will officiate.Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the rosary.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, PA 16001.
