Honduras man charged with illegal re-entry
PITTSBURGH — A Honduras native was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury on a charge of illegal re-entry into the United States.
According to the office of U.S. Attorney David Hickton, Marcio Martinez-Bustamante, 31, was deported in February 2010 and in January 2011.
Adams Township police found Martinez-Bustamante during a March 9 traffic stop.
The maximum sentence for the charge is two years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted the investigation leading to the indictment.
