Marlene Wallace

Marlene M. (Peck) Wallace, 89, of Saxonburg, formerly of Springdale, passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, in Embassy of Saxonburg.

She was born Oct. 23, 1933, daughter to the late Clyde and Minnie Croxton Peck. She was a former member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale and always enjoyed picnics and swimming with her family, as well as playing bingo. She was truly a kind, loving woman who will be sadly missed.

Surviving her are her daughters, Marylou (Tim) Hemphill of Saxonburg and Sue Detman of Cadogan; three grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Marlene is also preceded in death by a son, James Detman; and a daughter, Carol Thompson; two sisters, Lillian Mahoney and Amelia Luther; and two brothers, Claude and John Peck.

WALLACE — Friends of Marlene M. (Peck) Wallace, who died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, in CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME, 801 Pittsburgh St., where blessing services will commence at 11 a.m.

Burial will be held in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
