FARMING FAMILY
The Metrick family was picked the Butler Farm Show's 2005 Eagle Bowl family winners. They are, from left, Cathy, Ken, Amy and Laura. The John Deere tractor was in a new equipment display at the first show 58 years ago. This year's farm show runs Monday through Aug. 12 at the Farm Show Grounds in Connoquenessing Township. This year's events will include truck and tractor pulls, a demolition derby, the figure-eight race and stock car football. Photographs from past shows are also featured here.
