Pitt losing streak at 7 following 73-57 defeat
ATLANTA — The University of Pittsburgh continued its late-season fade Wednesday night with a 73-57 loss at Georgia Tech.
The Panthers (15-16) concluded the regular season on a seven-game losing streak. The Panthers will begin ACC Tournament play next week.
Eric Hamilton paced Pitt with 12 points while Justin Champagnie added 11.
Jose Alvarado led four Georgia Tech (16-14) players in double figures with 23 points. Michael Devoe added 13. Jordan Usher and Evan Cole netted 10 points each.
Pitt’s last win was against Georgia Tech at the Petersen Events Center.
