James David Ryan
James David Ryan, 56, of Clarion passed away Wednesday at his home surrounded by his family.
Born June 25, 1960, in Butler, he was the son of the late James J. Ryan and his mother, Mary Patricia Osterling Ryan, who survives.
Dave was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting and fishing. When he wasn't outdoors, he could be found spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, and playing chess.
He was married to Bonnie Rae Ryan on Aug. 1, 1980, who survives.
He also is survived by his daughter, April Lynn Ryan and her companion, Jeremy Best, of Clarion; his grandchildren, Katilyn and Ryan Ace, Hunter Best and Caleb Monroe; three sisters, Kathy Weber of Grove City, Linda (Don) Neff of Chicora and Susan (Roger) Simpson of South Carolina; his brother, Paul (Cathy) Ryan of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, John M. Ryan.
RYAN — A celebration of life for James David Ryan, who died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 6 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church social hall in Butler.Arrangements are under the direction of the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker.
