Ms. Vicki Lynn Gerard, 65, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at The Grove in New Castle.

Vicki was born on Sept. 17, 1957, in Ellwood City, and was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Martha Ann (Havern) Gerard.

She graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1976.

Vicki worked at Christy’s Family Restaurant for many years as a waitress, and then worked as a certified nurse’s assistant at the Passavant nursing home in Zelienople for 15 years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Vicki enjoyed puzzles, card games, reading and playing Bingo with her friends. She was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and looked forward to her trips to the beach, specifically Wildwood Beach in New Jersey.

The most important thing in Vicki’s life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sons, Benjamin (Melissa) Davis of Ellwood City, Matthew (Megan) Davis of Ellwood City and Bill (Kelley) Davis of Darlington; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Lynn Davis, Drake Davis, Hannah Davis, Owen Davis, Adelyn Davis, Trinity Davis and Tyson Davis; her sisters, Denise Gerard of Ellwood City, Lisa (Rick) Jones of West Pittsburg and Kerry (John Wuycik) McShane of Ambridge; her brothers, Joseph (Tricia) Gerard of Henderson, Nev., and Timothy (Lori) Gerard of Rimersburg; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Gillespie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Joyce Gerard, who died in infancy, Cheryl Tribuzio and Lori Jo Gillespie; and her brother-in-law, Richard Tribuzio.

GERARD — Visitation for Vicki Lynn Gerard, who died Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. Friday at SAMUEL A. TEOLIS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City, with Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley officiating.

Inurnment will take place at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Vicki’s name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
