Ruth A. Rudzki Cwenar
Ruth A. Rudzki Cwenar, 75, of Lancaster Township passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.
Born Dec. 17, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Rudzki.
Ruth was a longtime member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople and volunteered at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople for many years. During her free time, she loved sewing and knitting her adored grandchildren beautiful afghan blankets. She devoted her life to her cherished family and especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Dan Cwenar and his wife, Betsy, of Pittsburgh and Tom Cwenar and his wife, Suzan, of Wexford; and her five grandchildren, Michael, Colleen, Christopher, Theresa and Katherine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Edward P. Cwenar, who she married on Aug. 17, 1957, and who passed away on July 13, 2007; her three sisters; and her three brothers.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with Father Lawrence R.
