Kevin C. Schmid

Kevin C. Schmid, 48, of Grove City, formerly of Mars, passed away at home Tuesday following a one-year illness.

Kevin was born Sept. 27, 1968, in Wexford to James E. and Dorothy S. Pauls Schmid. He married Kelly Ann Smith on July 20, 1996.

He was a graduate of Mars High School in 1987 and the University of Pittsburgh in 1992 with a degree in computer science. Kevin was employed with PNC Bank for the past 20 years as a computer analyst support specialist.

Kevin was an active member at the Grove City Alliance Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly, at home; two daughters, Michaela and Anna Schmid; one son, Chris Schmid, all at home; his parents, Jim and Dorothy Schmid of Pymatuning; and one brother, Brad Schmid, and his wife, Kristen, of Katy, Texas.

Schmid, who died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Grove City Alliance Church, 845 N.
