James A. Spring
James A. Spring, 73, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at his home.
Born on Oct. 4, 1949, in Butler, he was a son of the late Arthur Joseph Spring and Norma Margaret (Miller) Spring.
James graduated from Butler High School and also from Butler County Community College.
He had retired in 2018 from JSP International in East Butler as lab supervisor, working as a metrologist.
He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, and had enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his sisters, Andrea James of Williamsburg, Va., and Paula (Tung) Nguyen of Butler; his nieces and nephews, Dwella, Tracey, Ray, Norma, Naomie, Jennifer, Eddy, Adam, Nikki, Art, Reva and Rick; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Kenzie, Samantha, Alexandra, Ashton, Cooper and Grayson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Art; and his sister, Linda.
SPRING — Friends of James A. Spring, who died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
