Claudia B. Barnes

Claudia B. (Cutler) Barnes, 83, of Butler died early in the morning Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Grove Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Arthur T. Cutler and Alvera E. (Dunn).

Claudia retired from the Valley Community Services, and had previously worked for the Visiting Nurses Association, and Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital.

After retirement, she enjoyed traveling, playing games, and time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Butler First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Michele) Bartsch of White Plains, N.Y.; two sons, David J. Barnes of Louisville, Ohio, and Craig D. Barnes of Butler; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald T. Barnes; and a brother, Arthur T. Cutler.

BARNES — Private services and burial for Claudia B. (Cutler) Barnes, who died Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, will be held in North Side Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home, Butler.
