Ronald Bole
Ronald Bole, 89, of Butler passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021.
He was born June 21, 1931, in Butler, and was the son of the late George and Edith Bole.
Ron served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force, at which time he met the love of his life, Margaret (Wright) Bole, whom he married in 1954.
He worked as the manager for Greenough Engineering and then Shannon Engineering, until he started his own survey and design company that he operated until his retirement.
He enjoyed traveling, model airplanes and trains, and most of all, being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was known to love life and will be forever missed.
He was the beloved husband of Margaret Bole; father of John (Pamela), Kevin, Scott and Chris Bole; grandfather of Michelle, Stacy, Jennifer, Eric, Mallory, Nick and Cody; and brother of Shirley Spradley.
Ron is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and a large and loving family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Bole; his sister, Glenda Cherry; and his mother-in-law, Gladys Wright.
