Pamela and Benjamin McCurdy

Benjamin and Pamela McCurdy of Connoquenessing celebrated 50 years of marriage with an open house and visits from family.

McCurdy married the former Pamela Kline on Nov. 3, 1972, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Connoquenessing.

They have three children, Benjamin Jr. (Rebecca) McCurdy of Butler; Elizabeth (Gregory Brewster) Murdick of Butler; and Tracy (Richard) Brown of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

McCurdy is a construction worker who enjoys working in his garage.

Mrs. McCurdy is a former school bus monitor who enjoys talking with her two sisters, Margaret and Mary Lou.
