Harry Lane Harvey
Harry Lane Harvey, 65, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Addison, Ill., passed away Wednesday surrounded by his wife and family.
Born in Detroit, Mich., to Mae and Maynard Harvey, he lived in Butler before settling in Chicago, Ill.
Harry will be remembered for his love and dedication to family, friends and his beloved dog, Rosie. He also will be remembered for his generosity, quick wit and enjoyment of playing golf.
An alumni of Butler High School, Class of 1968, he later attended Butler County Community College.
Harry was the beloved husband of Charlene (Gray); the loving father of Amy (Chris) Ulm, David (Kristy) Harvey, Arthur (Sonny) Sears and Amy Sears; and the cherished grandfather of Gabe, Christopher, Nicholas, Stephanie, Jake, Matilda and Luke.
Harry was also a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Harry is survived by his brothers, Larry (Kathy), Barry, Jerry, Maynard (Lori) and Terry (Diane); and his sisters, Vinita (Paul) Thomas, Dreama (Dale) Lumley and Sherry (Ben) Cooper
Harry was preceded in death by his mother, Mae, and his brother, Gary.
HARVEY — Visitation for Harry Lane Harvey, who died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison, Ill.A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Ghost Church, 254 N. Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale, Ill.Harry will be greatly missed by all of those he has touched with his kindness, presence and love.
