Ronald J. “Ron” DeLisio

Ronald J. “Ron” DeLisio, 85, of Washington Township, Petrolia, passed away Friday morning, July 17, 2020, at his residence following an illness.

Born April 8, 1935, in Jackson Heights, N.Y., he was the son of the late Albert and Mary Cullinane DeLisio.

Ron was married to the former Judith “Judy” Scott on June 3, 1961, and she survives, following 59 years of marriage.

He was Catholic by faith.

Employed nearly 32 years with Castle Rubber Co. of East Butler, he retired with his last position being supervisor of inspection.

He enjoyed woodworking and he and his wife, Judy, completely remodeled the home in which they lived for many years.

He was an avid reader as witnessed by the volumes of books he owned in his home. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by his five children, Ronald (Tina) DeLisio of Butler, Timothy (Patty) DeLisio of Emlenton, Laura (Rob) Organ of Waxhaw, N.C., Donna (Fred) Swanson of Carmel, N.Y., and Michael DeLisio of New Jersey; eight grandchildren, Lexan, Landon, Timothy and Alex DeLisio, Hannah and Haley Organ, and Emeline and Eddie Swanson; and one sister, Angelica (Dennis) Malpiedi of Delray Beach, Fla.
