Butler County pageant names winners for '11
The Miss Butler County pageant was held Feb. 5 at Butler County Community College.
Lauren Russo of Butler was named 2011 Junior Miss Butler County.A sixth grade student at McQuistion School, she is the daughter of Jayme and Jude Russo.Runners-up were Amber Rivers, first; Madison Roth, second; Nancy Wilson, third; and Kyra Nelko, fourth.
<B>Courtney Bearer </B>of Rochester was named 2011 Little Miss Butler County.A third grade student at Rochester Elementary, she is the daughter of Ron and Valerie Bearer.First runner-up was Amanda Bishop and second-runner up was Brenne Springer.Directors were Judy Hughes and Lucy Mudrick.———<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>
<B>Samantha Roth</B>, 11, of Butler, won the overall title of Cinderella Miss 2011 Feb. 6 at the preliminary pageant in Butler.She performed a song and dance to “Every Girl Can Be a Princess.” She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Arlene Roth.She is eligible to participate in the Cinderella State pageant April 30 in Pittsburgh.———<B>Bob Ripper</B> received the Community Partnership Award from the Woodmen of the World Lodge 8 of Butler.Area manager Dave Sinz presented the award.Ripper is Commander of Chicora American Legion Post 642.
