LAUREN BALMERT (Seneca Valley), a setter of the Fairfield (Conn.) University women's volleyball team, earned her third Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honor. In three wins last week, Balmert had 37 assists, 10 digs, four blocks and two kills against Rider; 35 assists, five digs four blocks and two kills against St. Peter's and 36 assists, nine digs and six kills against Northeastern.
