Bach Society will present a choral Christmas concert “O Come Divine Messiah” at 8 p.m. Dec. 6 at Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock and Dec. 7 at Tower Presbyterian Church in Grove City. New Castle Music Club Chorus will give its 73rd annual presentation of Handel's “Messiah” at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2434 Wilmington Road, New Castle. Harry Cunningham, Butler resident and senior choir director at First English Lutheran Church in Butler, will once again direct the 70-member chorus. This performance is supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to help defray production costs. The performance is a fundraiser for a scholarship fund in the name of Kiersten Roberston, a student who was killed in an automobile accident in 2011. Marra will be playing one of the principal roles, Molokov.
