Melda Lescelius

Mrs. Melda E. Lesseski Lescelius, 88, of Senoia, Ga., formerly of Sarver, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022.
She was born March 2, 1934, in East Brady, and was the daughter of the late Claire and Grace Kemery.
Melda worked as a nurse for various agencies until her retirement.
She was a member of Peachtree Baptist Church in Senoia, Ga. Melda was also a member of the Bethel Bible Baptist Church in Worthington. She loved praying for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert H. Lescelius; her children, Cynthia Wilson and her husband, Ron, James Lesseski and his wife, Rhonda, and Dan Lesseski and his wife, Chrissy; her stepsons, Robert Lescelius Jr. and his wife, Nilsa, and Jonathan Lescelius; her grandchildren, Matthew (Rebecca), Ron Jr. (Heather), Becky (Dean), Jen (Sky), Mark (Nicole), D.J. (Emma), Jessica (Mathew), Stacy (Jade), Aaron (Anna), and Caleb; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brothers, Ken Kemery (Judy), and Max Kemery (Alice).
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Lesseski, whom she married Sept. 11, 1954; her brothers, Lester, Harold and Ford Kemery; and her sister, Martha Kemery Beacom.
LESCELIUS — Friends of Melda E. Lesseski Lescelius, who died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with her nephew, Randy Lesseski officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Sarver.
