Butler Catholic Schools had a book sale in November 1970 as an outlet for people to buy gifts for other people or themselves.
Students also were allowed to get in on the action and could browse the books in the St. Paul Building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The shelves for this book fair were stacked with “classics, fiction, biographies, adventure stories, science, nature, crafts, mystery and reference” books.
