SUGARCREEK TWP, Armstrong County — The Sugarcreek Township Volunteer Fire Department ladies auxiliary will host a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the fire hall, Rodgers Road and Kittanning Hallow Road just off Route 268. Lunch will be available.

Items can be donated between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. No large furniture or appliances will be accepted.

Volunteer award nominees sought

Nominees are being sought for The Friends of the Butler County Association for the Blind Helen Keller Award, which recognizes service to the association.

The recipient will be honored May 22 at the third annual Dinner for Sight at the Butler Country Club.
