Edna R. O'Donnell
Edna R. O'Donnell, 88, of Butler passed away Thursday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Raymond R. McCandless and Sarah Allene (Rankin) McCandless.
Edna was an owner, along with her late husband, of O'Donnell's Self Storage and had sold Avon in previous years.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Alice O'Donnell of Butler; her sister, Dorothy Bailey of Sacramento, Calif.; her sisters-in-law, Donna McCandless of Butler, Rita Wasiloski of Gibsonia and Susan Lepore of Pittsburgh; her three brothers-in-law, John (Ann) O'Donnell of Lees Summit, Mo., David (Mary) O'Donnell of Marietta, Ga., and Mark (Judy) O'Donnell of Gibsonia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. “Red” O'Donnell; her son, Philip O'Donnell; and her two brothers, John A. McCandless and Russell O. McCandless.
O'DONNELL — Friends of Edna R. O'Donnell, who died Thursday, May 31, 2018, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
